10:00 - 18:00
Prevention is very important to us and we take it seriously and holistically.
We will always greet you with a smile! Then you fill in the form, which you can download from here. If you fill it in at home and bring it to our studio, you will save time.
You get comfortably seated in the dental chair and relax while we examine you. We will examine the entire oral cavity, not just the teeth. If you wish, we will show you the problem areas on a monitor with our intraoral camera.
We will also check the health of your gums for issues such as bleeding or presence of interdental plaque.
A large part of each tooth is hidden under the gums and sometimes that is where the cause of the complaints lies. To assess the overall health of your teeth, we can refer you for an X-ray.
After the examination, our team of specialists will discuss your case. We will prepare a treatment plan with the opportunity to choose the option that satisfies you best. Should you be worried about the financial side – worry not, we will present you every element of the treatment openly and with options, and we are also flexible about the payment.
Do you have pain, a broken tooth or a fallen filling? Need a second opinion? We will focus the exam on the complaint that brought you to us.
Additional examination – if you have an X-ray of the problem area or other test results, then bring them – this will facilitate our diagnosis. In case you don’t have any, we may refer you. If you wish, we will show you the problem areas on a monitor through our intraoral camera.
We will discuss the problem together, as well as the treatment options.
The baby’s teeth begin to develop in utero. During the consultation you will receive important information about the formation of the baby’s teeth during pregnancy and about the necessary care to ensure their normal eruption. We will give valuable guidelines for your nutrition and that of your future child, so as to provide basis for optimal development of the teeth. We can even plan the baby’s first visit to ensure a life of good oral health.
Dental emergencies are not on schedule and our team understands this. When such problems arise, we will do our best to provide time for a dental exam with a focus on quick pain relief!
The modern approach to perfectly clean teeth and healthy gums is called Guided biofilm therapy – an innovation from the Swiss leader in the prevention of periodontal diseases EMS. It is harmless, effective and gentle on teeth, soft tissues, implants and fillings. What are the steps?
In patients with periodontitis and deep gingival pockets, the therapy also includes AirFlow Perio, which allows cleaning and polishing of hard-to-reach and invisible areas under the gums. Cleaning ends with the removal of the remaining tartar, including that under the gums – with an ultrasound machine and, if necessary, with Mini Gracey curettes.
The last, but not least, element of GBT is the follow-up visits of our patients. On them we again visualize the plaque, assess the condition of the gums and teeth, as well as the individual satisfaction of the patient.
Accumulation of plaque and tartar around the teeth and under the gums can cause a cascade of dental problems such as caries, gingivitis, bone loss, halitosis (bad breath) and eventually tooth loss. Routine cleansing in our practice provides the necessary care so that you can enjoy exceptional oral health.
Gum health during an epidemic
Complaints of gums are becoming more common, especially bleeding when brushing, redness, and sometimes bad breath, but what does that have to do with the change in the epidemic? The explanation comes from the change in daily life, diet and largely stress. The constant tension around the situation, more pronounced in some patients, leads to changes in the amount and composition of saliva, and “stress hormones” also contribute to gingivitis. On the other hand, staying at home, frequent eating occurs, especially with carbohydrates, which provide a high accumulation of plaque – a major cause of gingivitis.
If you complain of a gum problem, our advice is to start with a diet and good personal oral hygiene, including flossing or interdental brushes. If your gums bleed, do not stop washing, but take a new soft brush and thoroughly clean the bleeding areas.
Taking Vitamin C up to 1000 mg daily has both immune and strengthening effects on gingivitis. If you use mouthwash, if possible, let it be alcohol-free. Magnesium, vitamin B6, herbal extracts – valerian, lemon balm, lavender, hops and others can be used by more anxious patients.
Try to deal with anxiety by not focusing too much on media hysteria and news from questionable sources. Instead, spend more time with yourself and interacting with loved ones, albeit digitally.
It addresses the root cause of the disease and not just treats the symptoms, but pays attention to the whole body as a system. Like holistic medicine, it uses an approach in which dental health is inextricably linked to overall physical, emotional and mental health.
At Dente Studio, we believe that not only do we treat oral diseases, but as healers we have a mission to promote overall well-being to prevent disease. In addition, we are deeply committed to the education and motivation of our patients and consider ourselves collaborators in their health care.
We follow the latest best practices and do not promote treatments that are not supported by solid research. Instead, we seek to shift the focus of dentistry from treating diseases to preventing them, while supporting overall health and well-being.
